SHNU: On 28th November, SHNU authorities gathered with the audience in the East Hall on the Xuhui Campus to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of SHNU College of Music. The participants included representatives from various departments, colleges, alumni, retirees, and teachers and students.
SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei delivered a speech of congratulations on behalf of the university, and SHNU Vice Party Secretary Mao Dingwen unveiled the Education Development Funds for College of Music.
The symphony orchestra, dancing troupe, chorus, folk music troupe, and accordion troupe staged shows for the audience.
Founded in 1972, SHNU College of Music has 40 years of history originating from a department of arts. There would be two-month long celebration of the anniversary from this September to November.
