SHNU: Sponsored by SHNU Research Center of Modern Chinese Society, the symposium on disputes settlement and documents of modern and contemporary eastern Asia was held in SHNU on 25th November.
Scholars from China, Japan and South Korea read out their papers and answered questions from the audience. Professors from SHNU delivered the paper on the business and litigation of Suzhou City in Qing Dynasty from tablet inscriptions.
