SHNU: The Cup of China ISU (International Skating Union) Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2012 was held at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center from November 2 to 4, attracting world’s top figure skaters from 9 countries.
From October 31 to November 5, 51 SHNU students from SHNU College of Physical Education and Foreign Languages College served as volunteers for the whole week. They were assigned to work in two departments: competition and reception, serving at different posts including informing athletes, helping with referees, drug testing, etc.
On November 3, SHNU Vice Party Secretary Wang Lianhua went to Shanghai Oriental Sports Center and extended regards to these SHNU volunteers, encouraging them to work harder and display the mien of contemporary Chinese youths.
It is reported that SHNU volunteers are have earned the title of named ExcellentOutstanding Volunteers at the Grand Prix, adding a splendid color to the brand image of SHNU volunteers in the society.
