SHNU: The academic seminar of Comparative Political Sciences and World Democratic and Urbanization Process was held on October 20th and 21st at SHNU. SHNU President Zhang Minxuan delivered the opening speech before 120 experts and scholars from over 60 universities and research institutes across China. Also, Brantly Womack, professor from University of Virginia, Lowell Dittmer, professor from UC Berkeley, and Marc Blecher, professor from Oberlin College were invited to attend. About 80 papers were received, and there were two key-note speeches and 8 forums. The seminar lasted one day and a half. |
