SHNU Librarian Hat-Tricks in National Composer Contest

SHNU: Recently, SHNU Librarian Shang Zhiming carried off with his third championship as the Gold Prize Winner of Chinese Folk Songs at the National Composer Contest for his creating the song “Night of Mid-autumn Festival”.
Sponsored by China Musician Association and Organizing Committee of Performing and Creating China Folk Songs, the competition would choose 266 pieces of works from 18, 698 ones to be published as the book Selected Songs of China Folk Songs. The awarded songs would also be listed into the textbooks for music skills assessment and key journals of Chinese music.
This April and August, Shang won gold prizes in Final of National Music Works Creation and National Music Composition Contest for Yong Musicians.
