SHNU: According to Shanghai Municipal Education Commission (SMEC), 6 SHNU key disciplines of Shanghai (for the third term) have passed the acceptance check of SMEC.
These disciplines are: Developmental and Educational Psychology, Classic Chinese Literature, Modern and Contemporary Chinese History, Chinese Philology, Computational Mathematics and Environmental Science.
The check is based on such aspects as discipline construction, performance of the task, potential and effect of the discipline, management, innovation and improvement of the discipline, support of the university, etc.
This time, altogether 38 disciplines of 9 universities of Shanghai successfully went through the inspection.
