SHNU: Good news came that the SHNU team won the first prize in the 6th National Chemical Design Competition for University Students and special award in East China competition zone.
The SHNU team, called Twinkling Stars, consists of 5 students majoring in Chemical Engineering and Technology from College of Life and Environmental Sciences. The competition attracted 562 teams from 119 universities including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Tianjin University, etc. After a series of contests, 36 teams were finally chosen to take part in the final competition.
The National Chemical Design Competition for University Students aims to cultivate the university students’ innovative thoughts and engineering skills of university students from various aspects, to promote their team-work spirit, and to strengthen their ability in engineering design and practice.
