SHNU: On August 18th, 30 students and 3 teaching staffs from the Confucius Institute of the University of Botswana, and 46 students and 3 teachers from 4 secondary schools of Botswana started their 21-day long journey of learning in SHNU. The Botswana students were encouraged to experience the abstruse Chinese culture and act as the envoy of sino-African friendship. The students were shown around campus after the ceremony. The students will be trained in Chinese language, songs, calligraphy, handcrafts, martial arts and culinary arts. Also, they will be brought to visit the Oriental Pearl TV Station, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Museum of City Planning, and Qibao Old Street, etc. |
