SHNU Ranks the 181st in the QS 2012 Asian University Rankings

SHNU: In accordance with the 2012 Asian university rankings released by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), a British survey institution of higher educationa,, SHNU ranks the 181st in the Asian university rankings, and the 42nd among the Chinese mainland universities.

The QS university rankings are based on the universities’ academic reputation, the number of research papers that have been published or cited, the proportion between their students and faculty, the internationalization and the employers’ evaluation, etc. SHNU has been among the top 200 in the QS Asian university rankings for years in succession. This year, the university has made new progress and jumped from the 191st in 2011 to the 181st.
