SHNU Visited by the Delegation of Australian Senate

SHNU: Five delegates from Australian Senate visited SHNU on July 18, accompanied by Ke Weiming, Australian Consulate-General Shanghai, and Tao Jiefei, Counsellor of the Embassy of Australia in the People's Republic of China, etc. SHNU President Zhang Minxuan received the guests.
       
Zhang Minxuan welcomed the guests and gave a brief introduction of the university, especially concentrating on the current situation of teacher training and its achievements since the establishment of SHNU.

"We come to China mainly to investigate your accumulated experience and future challenges in the training of primary school teachers and middle school teachers in China", said Senator Marshall, "We hope we can learn from your experience."

The two parties also had a warm discussion on such issues as the admission of teacher-to-be students, their training modes, their employment opportunities, and also Chinese students' excellent performances in PISA tests.
