SHNU: On July 11, SHNU authorities Lu Jianfei, Zhang Minxuan and Wang Lianhua visited Changning District Government Building and Huayang Street Community Youth Activity Center, extending regards to the SHNU volunteers working there. They were accompanied by relevant staff from the SHNU President’s Office, Publicity Department, College of Education, etc.
Since the beginning of the social practice in this summer vacation, over 10 thousand SHNU students have been serving the society in the form of project-survey, work-based experience, public service, field study, etc. Their excellent performance has been highly praised by the society.
It is reported that SHNU has established 155 charity schools this year all over China, including Xinjiang, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Anhui, Yunnan, Gansu, Yanan, etc. There are 112 charity schools in Shanghai, covering all the districts, Jinshan and Chongming District included. Among them, 13 schools have been running for more than 10 years and other 63 more than 5 years.
