SHNU to Have Two More Model Courses Taught in English

SHNU: According to the list released by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission (SMEC), two courses of SHNU --“Instructional Design” of the Mathematics and Science College and “Management” of Business College -- are among the 43 model courses to be taught in English in institutions of higher education in Shanghai this year.

Up to now, SHNU has altogether 7 courses of this kind. Another five are: A Survey of Western Civilization (2009), Corporate Finance (2009), Western Theory of Literature (2010), Early Education Research Methodology (2011) and Materials and Processes Ⅱ (2011).

The two courses will be funded by the SMEC. They will be awarded the honorary title of “English-taught Demonstration English-taught Courses in Institutions of Higher Education in Shanghai” after they pass ed the acceptance inspection three years later.
