SHNU Awarded Gold Prize in Vocal Contest

      SHNU:On April 16th, all the 3 SHNU candidates received prizes at the final of 2nd Folk Music National Contest of Singing and Musical Instruments Works.
      A teacher from SHNU library carried off with a gold prize for the production of duet Cuckoo Gold Peacock, a M.A. candidate from SHNU College of Music was awarded silver prize as a professional singer, and still another M.A. candidate won copper prize.
     The contest involves two parts, artistic composition and arts performances. More than 2 thousand songs from about 30 provinces across China rivaled for awards.
