SHNU：Recently, the research paper “On Poetry of the Western Jin Dynasty (265-316)”, co-worked by SHNU professor Cao Xu and Wang Lishui, attracted attention from academic circle, and was picked up to be published by various journals.
The paper centers on four issues of Western Jin Period of China, namely, the stirring aesthetics of poems, its sparkling world of beauty, the reasons that lead to the birth of the poetry, and the new direction of Chinese poems.
In recent years, Cao has been successfully applied for different items of national projects of social sciences funds.
