Recently, the 2019 National Outstanding Teachers Awarding Ceremony was held in Beijing. Lu Jiamei, professor from SHNU College of Education, is honored to be one of the representatives to attend the ceremony and was received by Xi Jingping, Chinese President.
Professor Lu is dedicated to studying emotional psychology and wins first prize for National Higher Education Research Award. His theories influenced about 300,000 teachers from across China. He is titled China National Renowned Teacher, and Professor of National Key Education Project.
This year marks his 70th birthday, which coincides with the 70th anniversary of the founding of China. This award affirms his contributions of as long as sixty five years as a teacher.
