Jiang Mingjun, on behalf of President Yuan Wen, extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation led by President Dr. Tran Trong Dao. He introduced the university's disciplinary development features and international cooperation achievements, expressing the hope that both sides would jointly explore innovative pathways for educational internationalization in the digital era. Tran mentioned that the collaboration between TDTU University and SHNU has made solid progress. In July of this year, the two institutions successfully co-hosted an international language seminar. He welcomed SHNU faculty members to visit Vietnam for academic exchange and joint research, while also expressing the hope that both parties would soon sign a student exchange agreement to formally establish a channel for student exchange programs, creating a platform for mutual learning and exchange between the two universities' students. During the meeting, the head of the SHNU ICCS clearly expressed the willingness to deepen cooperation with TDTU in areas such as Chinese language teaching and faculty training. In conclusion, both parties agreed to formally initiate collaboration in fields such as international Chinese language education, foreign language education, and the arts, with further discussions and coordination to follow on the specifics of the cooperation.
The TDTU in Vietnam was established in 1997 and is located in Ho Chi Minh City.
