SHNU: According to the latest statistics of ESI this September, SHNU is listed 85th in the top 100 Chinese universities and 1,624th globally.
ESI (Essential Science Indicators) can determine the influential individuals, institutions, papers, publications, and countries in their field of study — as well as emerging research areas that could impact their work(Thomas Reuters). More and more universities are now targeting at top 1 percent of ESI in terms of disciplinary development.
