SHNU: At the recent China National Final of English Contest for University Students, SHNU student from College of Business Lu Mengting, was awarded the first prize and the Best Debater title. She competed on behalf of SHNU and won the Best Prize at Shanghai Jiaotong University and stood out at the National Final in Xi’an.
The final involved over 300 contestants who survived the written test as special prize winners. In as short as four days, the candidates presented themselves in parts of speech contest, debate, and talent show. They explored and exchanged the English learning experience and methods with the judges, as well as the skills of public speech and debate.
