SHNU: Sponsored by the CI (Confucius Institute) University of Missouri, the two-week long China Summer Camp of Cultural Experience came to an end recently. Over 10 high school teachers and students from the city of Columbia of Missouri attended the program.
In this program, the students from Missouri listened to Chinese language courses, as well as those of calligraphy, martial arts, folk dances and basketball, etc. Also, a series of tour programs have been involved, including visiting the Oriental Pearl, Tianzifang, Yu Yuan garden, Bunds, Zhujiajiao, and Shanghai Museum. The students also accessed the daily life of Shanghai local people by witnessing the group dances in the park, the bustling vegetable market, and the convenient subway system.
The program aims at promoting the friendly exchanges between SHNU and the University of Missouri, and the cooperation with local primary and middle schools.
