SHNU: On May 23rd, the Final of 8th Shanghai VJ (Video Jockey) Contest for University Students was held in Shanghai. 1 freshman, 1 sophomore and 2 junior students of SHNU competed with other counterparts from across China. The result was released:
1 national second prize and 3 third prizes. In addition, one student won the Best Popularity Prize of Online Votes.
Self-display, scene simulation, and ad-lib hosting compose the three parts of the competition. The candidates were tested through various ways, including stage emergency dealing, and rapid change of hosting styles.
Altogether 262 candidates from 69 universities across China attended the contest and 26 survived the preliminary.
