SHNU to Build the African Studies Centre with Two Other Partners

SHNU: On May 13th, SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang met Megille, ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to China, Professor Ouyang Wei from National Defense University and He Liehui, President of Touchroad International Holdings Group, conferring with them on building SHNU’s African Studies Centre with joint efforts.

    Zhu Ziqiang introduced the situation of African studies in SHNU. He stressed that SHNU was ready to provide intellectual support for government and enterprises in communicating with Africa so as to do better service for the national strategy as well as the society.

    A consensus was finally reached that the African Studies Centre, as a platform converging multiple parts, could provide more basic research support for government in making policies and communicating with Africa, and meanwhile, offer convenience for enterprises to better understand and adapt to African environment.

    Zhu Ziqiang awarded a letter of appointment to Prof. Ouyang, who was engaged as a part-time researcher in the African Studies Centre.
