SHNU: On April 10, 10 students from SHNU School of Finance and Business went to SUNY Oswego to attend the 2nd International Symposium of University Students of China and U.S. 18 papers from 5 countries including China, US, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Turkey were read out in the symposium.
The paper by Yang Kun and Zheng Yingying (two SHNU graduate students majoring in National Economics), entitled Influence of Listed Company’s Location on the Quality of Information Disclosure–An Empirical Study on Shenzhen Stock Exchange won the first price. The paper by Cai lili (an SHNU undergraduate majoring in Financial Management), The Correlation Study Between Managerial Characteristics and Earnings Quality with Cases of Chinese Listed Companies won the second prize.
18 teachers of SUNY Oswego hosted the presentation of the 18 papers while Dr. Zhu Min and Wu Jingfang, Vice Dean of SHNU School of Finance and Business made professional comments on these papers.
SHNU teachers and students also visited the University of Rochester, local enterprises, folk think tank to experience more of American culture.
