SHNU: On April 24th,.the first International Chinese Language Education Skills Contest (Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai Region) was held at Zhejiang Normal University. It attracted candidates from Fudan University, East China Normal University, Shanghai University, Shanghai International Studies University, Suzhou University, Nanjing Normal University, Zhejiang University, and Yangzhou University.
Ma Yinan from Botswana, a master’s degree candidate from SHNU College of Chinese Studies won the Second Prize of Overseas Students’ Group and Zheng Chen won the Third Prize of Chinese Students’ Group.
This contest falls into two groups, those of Chinese students and of overseas students. There are four parts, class speeches, model teaching, teaching reviews, and Q&A. Innovative education concepts and teaching methods were presented, which inspired and enlightened the audiences. Also, teaching patterns and education styles of various countries were compared and shared.
