SHNU: On April 28th, Bouvard et Pecuchet, French original drama was shown on east Xuhui Campus as part of this year’s SHNU International Arts Festival,
Adapted from French writer Gustave Flaubert’s posthumous novel of the same name, the drama Bouvard et Pecuchet described two scribes living in Paris who grew weary of urban life and decided to return to homeland. It won a huge success for artistic skills and tacit cooperation.
Sponsored by SHNU Department of International Exchanges, SHNU College of Humanities and Communications and SHNU Department of Public Communication, the drama attracted about 500 audiences with dazzling performances.
