SHNU: On April 20, an engagement ceremony was held to employ Liu Guijin, former Director of the Department of African Affairs of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chinese Ambassador to Africa, as the special researcher of SHNU African Center. SHNU Vice President Liu Xiaomin made a speech at the ceremony. He pointed out that since its establishment in 1998, the African Research Center has made a lot of achievements in African history and economy. The center has won two key programs of the National Social Fund and is displaying the function of a think tank in African study. Researcher Liu Guijin said that he was honored to join SHNU and would instruct teachers and students in investigations into African related issues. |
