The 16th Laureus World Sports Awards Ceremony was successfully held at the Grand Theatre on April 15th, attended by Shanghai Communist Party Secretary Han Zheng, the mayor of Shanghai City Yang Xiong and other officials and stars from show business or sports circle all over the world.
Entrusted by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and sponsored by SHNU School of Business and College of Physical Education, the SHNU Arts Center organized over 130 student volunteers who did an excellent job at the Laureus World Sports Awards Ceremony.
The volunteers were assigned to the airport, hotels, authentication center, the and media center of Shanghai Grand Theatre, and the press conference, undertaking work of reception and logistical support. They also participated in the reception and interpreting work for foreign visitors during the 2015 Laureus Football Activities held in Shanghai Datong High School and the World Sports Society Meeting in China Art Museum.
SHNU volunteers, who displayed the youthful vigor with their positive spirit, great enthusiasm and professional approach, received favorable reviews from Laureus Committee and other organizations.
