SHNU: Recently, Dr. Tian Qiwei from SHNU won the title of Young Oriental Scholar of Shanghai, a program sponsored by the Education Commission of Shanghai Municipal government. Dr. Tian graduated from Donghua University of Shanghai with a PHD degree in chemical science and just completed the postdoctoral program at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. The Young Oriental Scholar Program of Shanghai requires that the candidates should be below 35 years of age, hold a doctor’s degree and have teaching or research experience in foreign countries. |
