On November 5th, the Ecological System Supervision Seminar of Exemplary Area at Yangtze River Delta and 2023 Work Conference of National Field Scientific Research Station at Shanghai Wetland Ecological System at Yangtze River Delta were held at SHNU. It was attended by representatives from Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, Tongji University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, East China Normal University, Shanghai Meteorological Information and Technical Support Center, Marine Environment and Ecological Engineering Research Center of Shanghai Ocean University, the Third Branch of Shanghai Institute of Surveying and Mapping, Shanghai Forestry Bureau, Shanghai Academy of Landscape Architecture Science and Planning, and Shanghai Wildlife and Protected Areas Research Center and SHNU.
The basic development plans and structures have been introduced before a discussion on 2023 work plan of National Field Research Station has been held.
Further cooperative opportunities are explored in terms of sharing scientific observation data and applying for some state-level programs as well as the Two Carbon Strategy application in the backdrop of ecological eco-friendly integration at Yangtze River Delta.
At the same time, more high-ranking academic papers are expected to be published at top professional journals; some annual white papers are supposed to build the field station into a world-class ecological observation station so as to serve the strategic plans of ecological eco-friendly integration at Yangtze River Delta.
