SHNU: On March 7th, Wu Bihu, professor of Peking University and famous tourism planning expert, paid a visit to SHNU and was warmly received by SHNU Vice President Kang Nian and Vice Dean of SHNU Tourism College Gao Jun. They swapped ideas on the tourism education development and academic exchanges.
Prof. Wu delivered a lecture entitled Tourism Research Supported by Geography: An Approach to Academic Study. Wu analyzed the world tourism research pattern and explained how geography infiltrated into tourism researches. He held that tourism destination management would be an important tendency for tourism research development.
The lecture was well received for its novelty and practicability. Prof. Wu answered students’ questions at the end of the lecture.
