During the winter holiday, Liu Yuejia, student of SHNU Xie Jin Film & Television Art College, attended the three-day Thacker Model United Nations (Shanghai area) in Shanghai Dazhong International Conference Hotel and won the highest honor -- the best delegator award.
Thacker Model United Nations, launched by Xiamen University, is of high standard with many branches on a national scale.
Liu Yuejia represented China in this model conference. The conference, themed Terrorism on the African Continent, involved three aspects -- Nigeria's "Boko Haram" problem, North African Al-Qaeda problem and the North and South Sudan’s LRA problem. Every 15 minutes, a crisis instruction was given covering military, economy, politics and medicine. And the instructions even included the North and South Sudan War which was unfamiliar to many people.
After the three-day conference, the organizing committee gave an extremely high appraisal to all the participants. Liu Yuejia was awarded the best delegator for her outstanding performance in dealing with the crisis and her role in protecting China’s national interests to the maximum limit.
