SHNU: On January 24th, the Confucius Institute of Japan Fukuyama University staged a report on Language and Culture----an Analysis Centered on Chinese Language Materials. The reporter, also the Chinese Director of this institute, attended the report meeting with over ten local Chinese teachers and students. The report meeting also signaled the farewell ceremony for the Chinese Director of the institute Shi Yongda, who just ended his four-year term there at Fukuyama University. The next director would be sent by the University of International Business and Economics of China (UIBE). Founded in 2007, the Confucius Institute of Fukuyama University was co-established by SHNU, the UIBE and Fukuyama University. In July, 2011, the Confucius Institute of Fukuyama University signed agreement with China National Hanban to become one of the few institutes to hold HSK exams independently. In the early 2013, the Sinology Research Center was approved to be founded in Fukuyama University, which marked the first and only Confucius Institute that owned a sinology research center. |
