SHNU Volunteers Serve the Science and Technology Week of Shanghai

During the 2014 Shanghai Science and Technology Week that kicked off on May 17, 20 students from the SHNU Science Shop served as volunteers in the main venue, their works including publicizing knowledge of science, guest reception as well as guiding the audience in the venue. SHNU also had another 50 students who were invited to attend activities at the opening ceremony.

From cutting-edge products to philosophical lectures of humanities, the science and technology week offered a feast of 842 activities that are both interesting and enlightening. Science workers from universities and research institutes would carry out over 300 science population activities that are highly related to social hot issues.

During the science and technology week, 3 museums of SHNU also shouldered responsibility of science population. They exhibited specimens of animals, calligraphy and paintings as well as traditional porcelain to the public.
