SHNU: SHNU student He Minzhi was admitted by Manhattan School of Music of the US the other day and would study for her master’s degree (Master of Music in Classical Piano) in the US from this August. He started to study in SHNU College of Music as an undergraduate in 2010, and has made rapid progress in her major during the 4 years when she studied piano works of various styles in different periods under the guidance of associate professor Shi Zhong. She has won lots of awards both at the national and international levels. Her piano solo in 2013 was a success, and in 2014 she was honored as an outstanding graduate of SHNU. Established in 1917, Manhattan School of Music is one of the top music colleges in the world. This year over 3,000 applicants took part in the entrance exam. He is the first SHNU undergraduate to be admitted by this world-renown music university. |
