SHNU: On May 13th, the preliminary contest of Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (China Region) ended in SHN. Gui Yuanyuan, a junior advertising major, became the final winner and would join the 2014 Cannes Training Camp of Creativity on behalf of the Chinese students. 23 candidates from 15 universities across China were chosen to compete after campus approval and online sessions. All of them had to finish their creative thinking and produce works in form of English proposals just within two hours. Crowned as the Oscar of Advertising, the contest is oriented towards a worldwide comprehensive creativity competency of highest rank, which would promote development of university advertising education of Chinese students.
