SHNU: May 12th, 2014 marks the 6th anniversary of China’s Disaster Reduction Day, and Professor Wen Jiahong from College of Tourism and Director of SHNU GRIP/UNDP Shanghai Disaster Risks Evaluation and Management Research Center, was employed as an expert of China National Disaster Reduction and Relief Committee. The fifth Forum on National Disaster Reduction and Sustainable Development was held in Beijing and Professor Wen delivered a speech on the same topic. On May 12th, Wen also interacted with other experts at the science popularization series sponsored by Shanghai Association for Science and Technology. |
