SHNU: On May 10th, the 8th Shanghai Automobile Education Cup Shanghai Scientific Innovation Works Contest ended at Shanghai Ocean University. SHNU team was awarded Excellent Organization Prize. Since last March, altogether 6 students had their works selected to win the prizes from 330 ones. Among them, Yang Tianxi from SHNU Life and Environmental Sciences College won the second prize for sensor research of rapid detection of pesticide remains. There are also other 5 candidates awarded excellent prize for their innovations on biological, chemical, mechanical and information fields. Held biannually, the contest is supposed to encourage university students to join innovative practices and bring their Chinese dreams into reality. |
