Ambassador Cui Tiankai Sends Best Wishes to the 60th Birthday of his Alma Mater

On April 18th, SHNU President Zhang Minxuan, who was then visiting the United States, called on Cui Tiankai, Chinese Ambassador to the United States and also the distinguished alumnus of SHNU.

Cui expressed warm congratulations on the upcoming 60th founding anniversary of SHNU. He fondly recalled his study and teaching experience in SHNU. Zhang Minxuan reported to Cui about the reform and development of SHNU in recent years, and invited him to come back to the university. Ambassador Cui said he was quite willing to go if he got the chance.

Ambassador Cui Tiankai, the famous Chinese diplomat, has served as Chinese ambassador to Japan, Vice Foreign Minister of China, and currently the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the United States.
