SHNU: A delegation of 15 teachers from Taiwan paid a visit to SHNU from April 3 to 5. SHNU Vice President Cong Yuhao delivered a welcome speech to the guests.
The delegates visited Shanghai Experimental School, The High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University and Shanghai Weiyu High School, all experimental model high schools of Shanghai. During the visit, the delegation members held a discussion with leaders and teachers of SHNU College of Education on the achievements and shortcomings of PISA test, cultivation of high-quality middle school teachers and promotion of basic education reform.
SHNU established an exchange program of research and study for graduate students with National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) in 2013 and has sent altogether 39 graduate students and 4 teachers to NTNU in the past two years. The 15 visiting teachers are all veteran clinical teachers for SHNU students of the exchange program in Taiwan.
