SHNU: On March 19th, 2014, Professor Chai Mingjiong, Director of Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation SISU (Shanghai International Studies University), came to SHNU College of Foreign Languages (FLC) to give a lecture on Basic Knowledge and Studies of Interpretation. It is the third lecture since the Huaying Forum was launched, and it is also the second time when the young teachers of the college take masters of the field as their tutors to improve their academic competence. In order to strengthen young teachers’ academic abilities and broaden their horizon, FLC conducts a project as “Learning from Masters” in which some masters or scholars home or abroad would be invited to be the tutors of some excellent young teachers. At the end of the lecture, young teachers from the college Huo Hongyu, Li Dan and Li Tianqi attended the ceremony of acknowledging Prof. Chai Mingjiong as their teacher by presenting him bunches of flowers and making short speeches.
