SHNU: As one of the series of Shanghai Library Lectures Enter SHNU, Liu Xiao Lin Tong, the household name actor of the TV drama Monkey King which hit China over two decades ago, visited SHNU Fengxian campus on March 20th The oldest version of Monkey King, shot in 1986, became the fond classic memories of most Chinese people. For many, nobody could play the role of the Monkey King better than Liu Xiao Lin Tong did. During the two hours of speech, he won rounds of applause for his witty remarks. The actor briefed on the various roles he once played and recalled the history of his family’s playing the monkey. He shared the difficult times and happiness during the process and expressed his passion and pride for joining the popular drama Monkey King. Liu Xiao Lin Tong, the art name of Zhang Jinlai himself, hoped that a theme park of Monkey King could be built as soon as possible in China, so that the Monkey Culture could pass on. |
