SHNU: On March 20th, Vice Minister of China Ministry of Education visited SHNU Teacher Education Base with leaders from Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. The Vice Minister Liu was shown around Shichengban (the applicants would sit in exams and interviews and successful candidates would follow a pattern of a four-year undergraduate study period and a two-year master’s program. The students would be free of tuition fees during the years of study in SHNU and receive possible scholarships and life pensions), Undergraduate Class of Shifan, Training Class of New School Presidents, Training Class of Non-government Academic Staffs and Training Class of Beautiful China Program. Liu also visited the Microteaching Classroom and lab Control Room of the Base. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei, SHNU President Zhang Minxuan and Vice President Cong Yuhao introduced the current situations of SHNU teacher education development and Shanghai Primary Education Service. |
