SHNU: On March 20th, the Seminar for Global Urban Education Network themed Expand the Effective Teaching of the 21st Century was held at the Conference Center of SHNU. It was attended by Vice Chairman of Asia Society, Bill& Melinda Gates Foundation, US Education and Economic Research Center, and expert and school presidents from 8 cities and 5 countries. At the opening ceremony, Vice Director of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission congratulated on the success of this global seminar. SHNU President Zhang Minxuan exchanged with the audiences on the core concept of teaching majors development in Shanghai and explored the problems and challenges facing various cities of GCEN. Zhang delivered a speech on Effective Teachers for Successful Schools & High Performing Students. The experts of the seminar would also be shown around four Shanghai middle and primary schools. They would probe the growth and development of the professional abilities of teachers. |
