SHNU: On March 13th, the 3D film The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug was released on Fengxian Theatre. This marked the first time that a three dimensional movie was launched in SHNU. The news that the movie would be run in SHNU became a hit. Soon the tickets were sold out, just within half a day. Even students of adjacent universities joined those for tickets. As part of campus culture activity, the weekly movie on Fengxian campus has become a sparkle of Fengxian students. This year, SHNU invested over RMB 30,000 Yuan (around USD 6,000) to purchase 3D screens and made the release of 3D movies possible in SHNU. About a thousand students saw the film. |
