Members of University of Botswana CI Summer Camp Visit SHNU

SHNU: Sponsored by the headquarters of Confucius Institute of China National Hanba, the Summer Camp of Confucius Institute (CI) of the University of Botswana was held in SHNU during the period of August 22^nd to September 4^th. During the two weeks, the 14 members experienced Chinese language and experience Chinese culture before they returned to Africa with content.

 

It is also noted that the teachers and students of CI of the University of Botswana attended the arts festival series at UBFACE in Botswana. Mokgweetsi Masisi, Vice President of Botswana, and Kagiso Thutlwe, Mayor of the Capital of Botswana, were also invited to the activity. At the festival, Chinese martial arts, graceful Chinese folk dances and galvanic traditional Botswana dances attracted rounds of applause.

 

With these exchanges and shows, the Confucius Institute of the University of Botswana served to display traditional Chinese culture and boost the impact of Chinese culture in Botswana.
