SHNU: On September 6, Prof. Zhu Jianmin, President of Taiwan Huafan University and relevant stuff paid a visit to SHNU. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei received the guests.
Lu made a brief introduction of SHNU. He focused on the university’s achievements in international exchange and collaboration during recent years, especially our rank in Quacquarelli Symonds.
Zhu highly appreciated SHNU’s accomplishment in international exchange, hoping the two universities could carry out some long-term exchange programs in such fields as engineering course, artistic design, philosophy. He also suggested that joint efforts be made to improve the teaching quality and research level of both sides.
Huafan University is one of the earliest private universities in Taiwan. It has great advantages in Engineering and Humanistic Education. Being named as Huafan, the university highlights the Chinese culture and Buddhist philosophy. Currently, the university consists of 4 colleges, 12 departments, 12 graduate institutes and boasts more than 4,000 students.
