SHNU: On September 6, Mr. Sasara, the Botswana Ambassador to China and Counselor Ms. Kelebogile were invited to attend the closing ceremony of the Chinese Bridge Summer Camp of Botswana students. SHNU President Zhang Minxuan met the ambassador before the ceremony.
Zhang made a brief introduction of SHNU and said something about the economic and tourist development of Shanghai. He expressed his wish to broaden the cooperation between Shanghai and Botswana or even the whole Africa.
Mr. Sasara hoped that more exchanges could be made between the two parties, especially on education and science and technology.
After the meeting, 82 Botswanian students presented a performance to show what they have learned during the summer camp. Among them, 50 were from 4 local middle schools of Botswana and 32 from the Confucius Institute of Botswana.
