As one of the series of 2012 SHNU International Week, University Presidents’ Peak Forum witnessed over 20 Chinese and overseas university presidents and directors of international departments from East China Normal University, Tokyo Gakugei University, Kent State University, and Edinburg Napier University, etc.
The theme is Exchange and Cooperation----Sharing the Education Resources in the Context of University Internationalization.
Short VCRs were shown, and questions were answered concerning enrolment, tuition, overseas life, and part-time job, etc. It is noted that the only pre-college institute for overseas students in Shanghai would be founded in SHNU. In the next three years, more students would study abroad, more teachers would visit, teach and study in universities abroad, and more programs would be planned for international exchange and cooperation. |
