SHNU：On March 27th, the Russian ESSE Quintet of Folk Music, an outstanding modern musical troupe of Russia, staged performances with unique skills for SHNU teachers and students.
5 young performers dressed in imperial uniforms kicked off the show with rare Rhombic dulcimers, accordions, Balalaika, and Dombura. Not only pieces of Russia folk music were presented, but also classic styles, or even a creative combination with modern music and cultures.
Founded in 2007, the troupe has been awarded 7 international prizes in Russia, Italy, Sweden, France and Germany, and it has had their music performances in such countries as Russia, Italy, Sweden, the Republic of Lithuania, Estonia, France, Germany and Austria, etc.
