University of Botswana Holds China Cultural Week

       SHNU：From March 19^th to 23^rd, SHNU cooperated with the University of Botswana (UB) for a China Cultural Week, attracting over 1 thousand attendants.

 

      The first day of the cultural week witnessed the gala of the visiting arts troupe from China Renmin University. The ambassador of Chinese Embassy in Botswana, the President of the UB, Executive of Botswana-China Friendship Association (BOCFA), and UB teachers and students were among the audience.

      Moreover, pictures and photos were shown to inform the people of the functions of the UB. The Chinese foods taste-trials drew the attention of more than 100 teachers and students. A game was designed to satisfy the local curiosity of the use of Chinese chopsticks for picking up peanuts.

      The Chinese song and poem reciting contests were held on the last day.
