SHNU: On March 15th, SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei arrived in Beijing for the morning buffet hosted by Ciaran Cannon, Director of National Affairs of Irish Ministry of Education. After that, Lu reached a cooperative agreement with Pal Barry, representative from Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) of Ireland, witnessed by Declan Kelleher, Irish ambassador in China, and Alan Buckley, the counselor, and others, etc.
Last May, Lu visited WIT and signed the agreement of 2+2 (2 years of learning in SHNU and WIT respectively). 4 students were involved in the program last year, and this year another 4 would be selected for it.
Founded in 1970，WIT features scientific and engineering disciplines.
